trip toward "post haiti" - 1st volume
2007年 07月 15日
hi! today i will write the memory of the trip this week.
as i informed before, i visited melbourne and tasmania. melbourne is located in the south-east part of australia, facing the coast.
tasmania is an island around 80km south to melbourne.
guess you dont know where it is so please check it on a map. of course i didnt know. tasmania is ,,, an island!? (^^;
on 8 sunday, i got to the bus and the train reaching melbourne.
i planned.
... i failed.
ya, the day before, i realized there was no early bus service in the morning on sunday. the first bus on sunday arrives at the bus stop @ 9:40. the start time of the bus is ... 9:30.
do you think the bus will wait for 10 min dont you!! but it didnt. wow, gosh.
i took an another bus and train and went to melbourne. the cost is ... secret. ukya-.
anyway! the scenery out of the train window was beautiful.
though i can see this view everyhwre in canberra(-ヮ-;
and i arrived at melbourne at night. it was my first time to stay atyouth hostel.
though melborne is the first or second biggest city in this country, it cost only $26(aounfd 2600 yen)! hmm, great.
and the sharemates were so funny.one share mate was old man, came from india. it was IMPOSSIBLE to communicate with him.
"where are you from?"
"india india"
"where are you going tomorrow?"
"india india"
...wow, really.
anyway!
next day.
i walked around melborne at last!
in the city, characteristic transport system "tram" is running across the city. with tram, bus and train, melbourne is well organized.
amazing it was.
that city contains new and old harmoniously.
i think new buildings are planned and constructed to go with old ones. the color, shape, and ... sitsukan.
there are lots of narrow and dark paths along big buildings. and when i looked up in such a street...
so quiet, and so glorious.
it is winter now in this country, so the church may have different mood now.
the first volume ends now. i will display photos in churches! i will update asap. next time.
